Projects we work on each year include:

   Business and Professions:
Honoring area business owners - even in a small farming community we have 17 businesses
        Honoring our local farmers
Participating in selling ads for the Albemarle District Convention

   Citizenship and Patriotism:
Recognizing winners in a patriotic art contest in one of the schools
Encouraging everyone to fly the American flag
Holding a flag ceremony with the Boy Scouts

   Environment Committee:
Roadside clean up of New Hope Road, White Hat Road, and Woodland Church Road
Giving trees on Arbor Day to community families

    Public Service Committee:
Providing a meal and monetary donation to two fire departments in area

   Social Development:
Encouraging Junior and Senior High Schoolers to become members of the Club
       Presentation of scholarships
       Recognizing shut-ins at Christmas
Collecting food for the local Food Bank

These are only some of the many projects of our Club.  Contact on of the members on the Members page for information on visiting with us at a meeting and learning how you can be part of the Forsetburg Ruritan Club.
